New Business
โ€ข Insurance: All members are automatically enrolled in an accidental death benefit
[$3,500 or $4,000. You donโ€™t have to enroll but you can designate a beneficiary at
which time they will contact you and try to sell you other insurance. The coverage is in
place and although itโ€™s not much, it helps us fulfill the requirements of the 501c8.
โ€ข Ideas for fundraising: silent auction at Open House or a special event; BIG thermometer
showing our progress toward our goal of replacing the roof, others?
โ€ข BINGO – November 7 and thanks to Michele and Jean, we still have lots of prizes.

Good of the Order
Ellen Furstnerโ€™s husband Lon fell off a ladder while trimming trees breaking 7 ribs, hip and aย concussion but was put in the cardio unit at RiverBend Hospital due to other problems. We are standing by ready to help however and whenever we can. Teresa also mentioned Cherry Clark whose husband has lymphoma and was involved in a freakish accident where the car was totaled but walked away unharmed. Cherry has an upcoming hip surgery.
