We’ve been invited to join other granges at a“Green Grange Summit.” A meeting of the like minds at a central location to discuss and share ideas and concepts. The location will be the Silverton Grange Hall on Saturday, March 24. The posted agenda is:
- 10 a.m. Sign in. Social coffee Meet & Greet
- 11 a.m. – Potluck Lunch
- 12 noon – Presentation: “The History & Future of the Grange in Transition”
- 1:00 – General discussions, next steps, etc.
- 3pm – Degree work*
- 6pm – Closing
A group of Mohawk Valley Community Grangers plans to meet at the grange and carpool to the summit. Call Tom Barratta if you are interested in joining us on this visit to our neighbors.
